Once you start learning what you will eat on a daily basis…it’s a good idea to plan out your days in advance. This will help you stay on track and not be tempted for the easy fix (Fast FOOD).

When you are doing a workout program like Insanity or P90X you need to stick to your nutrition and diet. That’s if you want GREAT results. I’ve always said the workout is important, but nutrition is even more important. You need to fuel your body for these grueling workouts so you can maximize the returns.

This video will show you how I prepare for my meals and how you can to.

Enjoy 🙂

  1. Great tips! This video inspired me to start per-measuring the food I’m going to eat. I have 2 questions:
    1) Do you per-cook the food before measuring or storing the food?

    2) What kind of scale do you use? The one you showed looked like a slick digital one and I’d like to pick something like that up.

    Great job..

  2. Oops, previous message should say pre-cook/pre-measure… Damn auto-correct…

  3. Hey Dennis,
I am glad this video inspired you. Measuring our food is a very powerful weapon in the battle of fitness. To answer your questions, first I do not pre-cook my meat and vegetables, but I do pre-cook my rice. The only reason I cook my rice ahead of time is because it takes so long. Second it is a digital scale; you will be much more accurate that way. Mine is a Taylor, we got it at Target for $20.
    Hope this helps,
    Thanks Jim
